Mary Turan, Consultant

Mary has a 20-year background as a human resources consultant and corporate practitioner. She helps organizations achieve customer satisfaction through people development and fundamental human resource practices and policies.

Before joining McDowall Associates, Mary was Principal of Infokinetics Inc., a human resources and information technology consulting firm. She has helped clients manage downsizing initiatives, delivered job evaluation programs, and facilitated more than 50 employee/management work groups. She has also provided compensation consulting on internal equity issues and external market comparisons.

Compensation Specialist

Mary plans, conducts and delivers job evaluation projects to help clients meet Pay Equity legislation requirements. Her expertise includes analyzing job evaluation results, developing pay grades and ranges, identifying legislation requirements and developing pay equity plans.

Credentials

Mary has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. She is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and is designated a Canadian Human Resources Professional (CHRP). Mary received a Post Diploma Certificate in Human Resources from Seneca College and received a Certificate of Achievement in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Windsor.

Mary is a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC) and the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO)
