Erin Holl, Consultant

Erin brings to her clients more than 20 years experience as a human resources practitioner.  She has an extensive background managing job evaluation processes, labour and employee relations and has led major restructuring initiatives.

Before joining McDowall Associates, Erin held senior positions with the City of Toronto, the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and the City of Brampton. Erin has an intricate knowledge of the job evaluation process having been the liaison for job evaluation issues for the Public Works Department at the City of Toronto for 14 years. She has managed job evaluation programs, chaired job evaluation committees and acted as key advisor to directors and operations managers on job evaluation and compensation-related issues.   

Job Evaluation Specialist and Human Resources Generalist

Erin plans, conducts and delivers job evaluation projects to help clients meet Pay Equity legislation requirements. Her expertise includes analyzing job evaluation results, developing pay grades and ranges, identifying legislation requirements and developing pay equity plans.

Erin has extensive experience developing policies and procedures to improve operational efficiencies, creating recruitment strategies and programs, managing organizational restructuring, and handling complex labour relations issues including contract negotiations. She also has extensive experience implementing and managing performance management programs.

Credentials

Erin has a Certificate in Human Resource Management (CHRM) from Ryerson University and is designated a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).  Erin is currently working towards completing a Bachelor of Human Resources & Industrial Relations degree from Athabasca University.

Erin is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario (HRPAO).
