Key findings from the latest Gallagher McDowall research include:
1. The compensation awarded by Canada’s big banks to their CEOs for 2015 was largely in line with their target total direct compensation.
2. The median target total direct compensation of the CEOs did not change in 2015.
3. The bank CEOs have a significant financial stake in the future of the banks lead, in fact as much as 50 times salary.
